General Body Meeting - MoM and Bye Law Document Updated here

Hello Everyone,

 

I am proud to say that there were 450+ alumni and 30+ teachers and support staff who attended the Grand Alumni Meet on Dec 24, 2022. I hope you all enjoyed meeting your teachers & friends, made some new friends, visited your classrooms, and took some awesome pics that will remind you of your school days.

I would like to start by thanking Mark Zuckerberg, as most of our communication happened through WhatsApp and Facebook, for helping us all connect back to our roots :)

 

Thanks to our teachers

We are thankful to all our teachers who made it, and it was great to have them at the event. We also thank our teachers for their inspiring words.

 

Thanks to our school

It's our school's motivation that helped us run this event successfully. I would like to mention Ms. Renu (Vice-Principal) mam, Mr. Ravi Mahadevan (Head-Master) sir, Mrs.Jolly mam, Mr. Indulkar sir, Mr. Dhinakaran sir, Mrs. Jayashree mam and Mr.Varaprasad sir for guiding us all through the planning process.

I would like to specifically thank Renu mam and Ravi sir for patiently listening to all our requests and attending my calls.

We had a 15 member core committee team to enhance communication with various batches and teachers. The following members were the backbone of the event.

Other members who I would like to highlight are Thulasi Raman (2013), Hemalatha (2005), Ajay (1996), Mahendran (2010), Sriaravindha (2019), Prasanna David (2003), Raja Vasanth (1997) and Rani Asha (1999). I am sorry if I missed any names, and I am glad that each of you pitched in the best possible way to run this event successfully.

 

Events

We are thankful to Lakshmi Thara, Anushree, Abirami, Nanditha, Ramasamy, Ganesh Kumar, Jogeshwar Rao, Harish, Ayush Kumar, and Manoj Kumar, who sang and made the evening colorful.

 

I would like to thank Kamala Akka, her team, and Gardener anna for setting up the place for the event and serving tea/ snacks to all alumni.

 

Special thanks to KV HVF Alumni Association members for sharing their experience and guiding us - Ms. Raakhee, Mr. Anand, Mr. Raj Bahadur, and Mr. Santosh Kumar.

Way Forward

 

Please bookmark our website: https://www.kvocfalumni.com. We will keep updating every possible activity here. We will start KV OCF Association soon, and the elections for various positions will be conducted over the next three to four months. We will work towards setting up a fair election process. We request you all to actively participate in forming the Alumni Association for our school and create new initiatives to help the student community.

 

All the right forces were in place, and they helped us run the event without interruption. There was fear about rainfall, new COVID-related protocols, and holiday season-related travel issues. Despite all these, we had significant participation.
